CULTURE TOUR LADAKH
The ladakhis are known all over for their rich culture and festivities. Though Ladakh is situated in the northernmost region of India, but the moment you will enter Ladakh, the influence of Tibetan culture on the entire region can be easily observed. The architecture, cuisines, traditions, festivities, Buddhism all are inspired from Tibetan style. The performances on the folk music and dances are worth watching. The famous mask dance performed during the festivals leaves long lasting impression on the viewers. The culture tours packages have been specially designed and take you through the lanes of different villages of the region where you will observe closely the lifestyle of ladakhi people.

  • DAY 01: Delhi
    On arrival in Delhi, welcome and transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
  • DAY 02: Fly Delhi - Leh (3445mtrs)
    Transfer to the airport to board the flight to Leh. You will be received on arrival and transferred to your hotel. Rest and acclimatize yourself to the altitude and rarified air of Ladakh. In the evening, we gather for dinner and are introduced to the tour guide.
  • DAY 03: Leh - Half day tour
    After breakfast, leave for a tour of Leh and see its ancient monuments and Buddhist sites. After lunch at your hotel we leave for a tour of the Shanti Stupa, Built by Japanese Buddhists this Peace Pagoda is a beautiful structure with gilt panels on its sides that display episodes from the life of Buddha. It was inaugurated in 1983 by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. We then drive to the Sankar Monastery that is surrounded by forests and barley fields that rise in terraces along the hillside. Within the monastery you can see beautiful Thanka paintings and statuettes of Buddha made of gold. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.
  • DAY 04: Leh -Hemis - Thiksey - Shey
    After breakfast we leave for a tour of the Hemis Gompa. This monastery is the best known in Ladakh. Around the monastery you will see Chortens or Buddhist reliquaries and ornate walls. After seeing the sights of the monastery we leave for the Thiksey Monastery. This is situated on a mountain from where you can see panoramic views of the Indus Valley. Within the monastery you can see many beautiful Buddhist artifacts. We then leave for the Shey Palace, which was the summer palace of the royal family of Ladakh. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.
  • DAY 05: Leh - Alchi
    After breakfast, we leave for Alchi. Located 70 kms west of Leh, is the Uletokpo camp where we arrive rest, have lunch and then leave for a tour of Alchi monastery and the nearby village. Considered one of the most well preserved Buddhist centers of Ladakh, the Alchi monastery has beautiful paintings on its walls, which are examples of early Buddhist art. In Alchi village you can see the rural lifestyle of the villagers including activities such as grinding wheat etc. Stay overnight at the camp.
  • DAY 06: Alchi - Lamayuru - Alchi
    After breakfast we drive to Lamayuru, where we tour the Lamayuru monastery. Also called the Yung-drung (Swastika) monastery, Lamayuru is one of the oldest monasteries in Central Ladakh. Enjoy a picnic lunch at Lamayuru village and explore its surroundings in the afternoon. Return to the camp in the evening to stay overnight.
  • DAY 07: Ridzong and Likir Monasteries
    After an early snack we leave for the Ridzong Monastery. The last kilometer of this journey is on foot, due to the steep hill. Ridzong is a nunnery, where Buddhist nuns reside. Tour the monastery and then return to the camp for breakfast. Later we leave for Leh. On the way we stop to the Likir Monastery built in the 15th century by monks of the Gelupa (Yellow Hat) Sect. Later we resume our drive along the Indus River. Arrive at the hotel in time for a late lunch. Relax in the afternoon and evening and stay overnight in the hotel.
  • DAY 08: Leh - Saboo - Leh
    After breakfast we leave for Saboo village where you can see the traditional lifestyle of the people of Ladakh. You can taste Gur Gur or Yak Butter Tea and dine on local cuisine at a Ladakhi home. Return to Leh and enjoy shopping and sightseeing. Stay overnight at the hotel.
  • DAY 09: Leh - Stok
    After breakfast we leave for the Stok Palace, where the royal family of Ladakh used to live. In the museum at the palace you can see family heirlooms and artifacts from royal times. We then tour the Ladakh Handicraft Center. Here you can buy beautiful handmade products and craft items. We than travel to Choglamsar, where you can see a Tibetan settlement. There are many Tibetans residing in Ladakh. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.
  • DAY 10: Leh
    Your last day in Leh is at your disposal. You can go shopping, sightseeing or pursue any activity of your choice.
  • DAY 11: Leh - Delhi
    After an early breakfast we leave for the airport, where you can board the flight to Delhi. Our representative will meet you at Delhi airport and help you check into your hotel. Check into your hotel and relax. Stay overnight at the hotel.
  • DAY 12: Delhi - Departure
    After breakfast, leave for a day's sightseeing tour of Delhi. In historic Old Delhi you will see the Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques of India; the Red Fort, an impressive sandstone monument built by the Mughals, and you can explore the busy market of Chandi Chowk. You can also visit Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. In New Delhi you can see India Gate, Parliament House and the President's mansion. Humayun's Tomb, Qutub Minar and the Bahai Temple and shopping in crafts emporia in Delhi complete your Delhi tour. and Evening Transfer to Airport.

  • DAY 01: Delhi
    Upon arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport Terminal II you are met and transferred to your prebooked Hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel. Rest of the day is relaxing and for free activities.
  • DAY 02: Delhi
    After Breakfast we visit Old Delhi, built in the 17th century by Shah Jehan the Magnificent (who also built the Taj Mahal). First we will be visiting the famous Jama Masjid mosque with its 9,000 sq. ft. courtyard, three domes and two minarets, and then proceed to the massive complex known as the Red Fort. Afternoon we'll visit Lakshmi Narayan Temple, a Spectacular structure that's just 60 years old , and then proceed via India Gate and the Governmental building to Qutab Minar, the 240 foot tower built in 1190 to commemorate the arrival of Islam in India, the Bahai Temple with its nine pools on an elevated platform, and the Crafts Museum, which replicates and Indian street with over 50 artists and crafts people at work.
  • DAY 03: Delhi - Amritsar
    Early morning we are transferred to the New Delhi railway Station to board our train for Amritsar, the city of Golden Temple. Afternoon we visit the famous Golden temple which is scared to the Sikh nation, here we will find time to tune into the amazing spiritual centre and feel the power that inspires the Sikh people worldwide. We continue our city tour and visit the Jallian walla Bagh Martyrs' Memmorial built in the shape of eternal flame of liberty is situated on the outskirts of Golden Temple.Here about 1500 and 2000 persons who were attending a peaceful meeting during the freedom movement fell under the bullets of the British General Dyer on 13 April 1919 and the city of Amritsar.
  • DAY 04: Amritsar - Dharamshala
    Morning after breakfast we depart for Dharmshala, a hill station full of natural charm and beauty is situated in the Kangra Valley and spread over a height of 450 metres. It is surrounded by the majestic Dhauladhar Ranges on three sides. Tibetan settlements at Mecleodganj and Tibetan Library are the treasure hunts of manuscripts and text and its ancient culture. The Dalai Lama's Palace is next to his monastary at Dharamshala. The day is spent walking around the Kangra Valley and mixing and talking with the Tibetan Community.
  • DAY 05: Dharamshala
    Morning we start our city tour of Dharmshala and visit the Dalai Lama 's Monastery , Tibetian children village and handicraft centre, Bhagsunag and water fall and the war memorial. Evening is spent relaxing.
  • DAY 06: Dharamshala - Kullu Manali
    Today morning we depart for our new and exciting destination KULLU & MANALI. Upon arrival we check into our prebooked hotel.Manali is a major resort in the Kullu Valley . According to the legend its name is derived from Manu and Alaya, the abode of Manu. Manali is synonymous with streams and birdsongs, forest and orchards and the grandeur of the snowcapped Himalaya.
  • DAY 07: Manali
    Today we leave for city tour of Manali, visiting the Hadimba Devi temple set within dense Pine forest and to the Naggar Castle to have the stunning view of the valley. Afternoon is spent walking around the Beas river and the local market.
  • DAY 08: Manali - Rohtang - Jispa
    Morning we start our drive through the Rohtang Pass (4,220m) to Jipsa visiting the Gompa (monastery) of Khardong en route.
  • DAY 09: Jispa - Sarchu
    After breakfast we depart for Sarchu the drive to the high barren mountains of the Ladakh Valley. On our way we cross over the Baralacha la (4900 Mts.). It is here that roads from Lahaul, Spiti, Zanskar and Leh meet. We reach Sarchu (4200 Mts.) camp.
  • DAY 10: Leh (81 Kms)
    After breakfast we start our full day drive to Leh. Geographically and culturally, Leh is very much part of Tibet and Tibetan influence pervades this desert land.
  • DAY 11: Leh (ladakh)
    Morning in Leh is kept free for the purpose of getting acclimatise to the height and weather. Afternoon we do a sightseeing tour to Shankar Gompa, Shantistupa and Leh Palace.
  • DAY 12: Leh - Shey - Thiksey
    After breakfast full day sightseeing to Shey , old summer palace of the Kings of Ladakh and was built about 560 year ago. It has a 12 meter high seated Buddha images. From here we proceed to Thiksey , the monastery is very picturesque and superbly sited on a hilltop overlooking the village and we now would proceed on to Hemis , one of the largest and the most important Gompas in Ladakh, with its excellent library wall paintings and Buddha figures.
  • DAY 13: Thiksey - Likir -Alchi
    After breakfast we start a full day excursion visiting the monastery of Likir and Alchi to see the gigantic painted clay statues of Buddha, carved arches and old paintings.
  • DAY 14: Alchi - Leh - Delhi
    Today morning we are transferred to the airport for flight to Delhi.Please note that the Leh flight is purely dependent on the weather conditions in Leh. Incase of cancellation we will have to try for the next day flight.We take no guarantee of the flight.
  • DAY 15: Delhi
    Rest of the day at leisure.Transfer to airport for flight to Onwards journey.

  • DAY 01: Srinagar
    On arrival at Srinagar airport. Our representative will meet you and escort you to Houseboat. Afternoon Shikara ride on Dal lake visiting interesting places around the Lake. Overnight at Houseboat.
  • DAY 02: Srinagar
    Morning half day tour of world famous Mughal gardens visiting Nishat (The Garden of Pleasure) built by Asaf Jah in 1636 AD and Shamilar Bagh (Abode of Love) built by Jehangir for his beloved Nur Jahan in 1619 AD. Afternoon Visit Srinagar Old city Jamia Masjid, Shah Hamdan mosque, Srinagar Museum and enjoy the walking through the narrow bazar of the city. Overnight at Houseboat.
  • DAY 03: Srinagar – Kargil (205 Kms)
    Full day drive to Kargil. After Sonmarg you start steep ascending most rough road and wet Zojila pass 3527 Mtrs known as (Gateway of Ladakh) continue drive towards Drass second coldest place in the world here we stop for tea and passport check. Another two and half hours drive will take us Kargil. Overnight at Hotel.
  • DAY 04: Kargil – Rangdom (135 Kms)
    After Kargil drive towards Zanskar valley on the way see Panikar and Parkachan villages view of Nun & Kun peaks are seen.. Arrive Rangdom in the evening . Overnight in Tents.
  • DAY 05: Rangdom – Padam (150 Kms)
    After short drive, we stop at Rangdom Gompa and visit the Gompa Continue drive to Padam which is the Capital of Zanskar valley on the way cross Pensila pass 4401 Mtrs and some ancient Buddhist villages. After crossing Tungri bridge visit Sunni Gompa finally we reach Padam in the late afternoon. Overnight in Tents.
  • DAY 06: Padam
    Day to visit Pipitong, Thonde Gompa and Zangla 3450 Mtrs this is the most beautiful village with ancient Zangla Gompa and you may get chance to visit Queen's house at Zangla. On the way return visit Karsha Gompa which is one of the oldest Monastery. Overnight in Tents.
  • DAY 07: Padam – Kargil (285 Kms)
    Full day drive to Kargil and in the evening we reach Kargil. Overnight at Hotel.
  • DAY 08: Kargil – Uletokpo (153 Kms )
    Full day drive to Uletokpo and we have to cross highest pass on Srinagar leh route Fotula 13749 Fts. On the way visit Mulbek and Lamayuru monastery one of the oldest Monastery in Ladakh region. Continue drive to Uletokpo in the late afternoon one may visit to Rizong monastery by foot 5 Kms to and fro. Overnight in Tents.
  • DAY 09: Uletokpo – Leh (81 Kms)
    After short drive we reach to Alchi Monastery and continue drive to Leh via some interesting Buddhist villages. Afternoon free for personal activities. Overnight at hotel.

    Full day excursion to Shey, Thiksey and Hemis Monastery which is most popular Monastery in Ladakh region. return back to Hotel in the late afternoon. Overnight at Hotel.
  • DAY 11: Leh
    Morning half day sightseeing tour of Spituk and Phyang monastery. Afternoon visit by foot to Kings palace, Tsemo Gompa, Leh Mosque, Leh Bazar and Shankar Gompa. Overnight at Hotel.

    Transfer in time to the airport to connect onward destination flight.

    Upon arrival in Delhi International airport assist and transfer to hotel for immediate occupancy. Afternoon at leisure for personal activities. Overnight Stay.
  • DAY 02: Delhi - Srinagar
    On time assistance and transfer to airport to board flight for Srinagar. Upon arrival assistance & transfer from Airport to Deluxe houseboat on Dal Lake (known as Shikara in local language). Afternoon at leisure for personal activities. Boat ride on Dal lake return to your respective accommodation for overnight.     Morning depart for sightseeing tour of Shankracharya a hill in the heart of Srinagar boast of one of the most famous Temple of Shiva approximately 2000 years old after visiting continue your drive to visit famous Mughal gardens of Kashmir laid on foot hill of Zabarvan range overlooking Dal and Nazeem lake visiting Chashma-I Shahi (the royal spring) Nishat garden & Shalimar garden (abode of love) was reserved for the court ladies during Mughal time, in case one is interested can also visit (Optional) the marble mosque Hazratbal & Shah-I-Hamadan.   • DAY 04: Srinagar - Gulmarg
    Morning drive to Gulmarg the (meadow of flowers) 65 kms from Srinagar it lies at the altitude of 9500 feet above sea level, it boast of one of the highest natural golf course in the world, though not in a very nice condition even though its worth while to have a practice round of golf .Non golfers can take a walk, pony ride or go up o Khilanmarg at the altitude of 10500 feet above sea level in a Gondola (cable car). After visit return to Srinagar for Overnight in respective accommodation.
  • DAY 05: Srinagar - Kargil
    Early in the morning depart for Kargil a small sleepy Shia Muslim town driving via Sonemarg (meadow of gold) & over Zojila pass at the altitude of 3800 meters or 12500 feet above sea level drive to the pass one gets a beautiful view of lush green meadows of Baltal and Sind valley, from the pass it is good three to four hours drive to Kargil Via Drass the second coldest Village in the world after Siberia. Upon arrival check into respective accommodation for overnight.
  • DAY 06: Kargil - Leh
    Morning depart for Leh enroute visit Mulbekh here lies a beautiful statue of future Buddha known as Chamba was built by Kushans the rulers of central Asia who traveled extensively in this part of the world, after visiting continue drive to Leh driving over two passes Namika-la 3800 meters and Fatu-la at 4000 meters this is the highest pass between Kargil-Leh route drive down to visit Lamayuru Monastery one of the most pictures monastery in Ladakh region after visit continue drive another 80 Kms to Leh.   • DAY 07: Leh
    Morning visit SOS children's' village, Sabu monastery, & Stok palace after visit. Return to hotel. Afternoon visit Spituk, Phiyang & Sankar monastery. Return to hotel for overnight.
  • DAY 08: Leh
    After breakfast full day tour of Shey, Thiksey & Hemis monasteries. Return late afternoon back to Leh for Overnight at hotel.

  • DAY 01: Leh
    On arrival at leh airport, you will be met by our representative at the airport and escort you to Hotel. Complete day for the acclimatization which is 3500 Mtrs above sea level. In the evening short walk around Leh bazaar Overnight at Hotel.
  • DAY 02: Leh – Monasteries
    Day excursion to the famous monasteries, it is interesting to visit early in the morning to enjoy the praying ceremony at Thiksey monastery. Continue drive to Hemis monastery which is one of the most famous monasteries of the Ladakh region. On the way back visit to Shey Palace. Overnight at Hotel.
  • DAY 03: Leh – Chumathang – Tsomoriri (240 Kms)
    Leave in the morning and drive to Chumathang stop at Upshi for check point. From here the road turns towards left and reach Karu. Chumathang is famous for medical hot spring & people visit to this place for medical bath. From here a short drive upto Maha bridge the main checking point to enter to this new area. From here the road is rough. On the way visit Sumdah village and another 55 kms drive will take you to Tsomoriri. The Lake is breeding grounds for numerous species of birds. Chief among them are the bar headed goose, found in great numbers, crested grebe, the Brahmini duck (ruddy sheldrake) and the brown headed gull. The Lake is 8 Kms. Wide and 28 Kms long. Overnight in tents.
  • DAY 04: Tsomoriri
    In the morning visit Korzok village with its houses and its gompa appearing like a mirage. The few barley fields at Korzok must be among the highest cultivation in the world. In the afternoon visit around the Lake. Dinner and overnight in tents.
  • DAY 05: Tsomoriri -Korzok - Puga – Tsokar – Tanglangla – Leh
    Drive to Mahe village and the road turns left from here towards Puga Valley. The village is an unforgettable scene of shooting fountain and white clouds hanging upon. This is Butan gas which Puga valley is famous. Continue drive to Tsokar via Polokongka pass (13500 ft.) and visit Tsokar (small Lake) and one can visit Thugke gomp. The place is famous for wild asses are generally seen here grazing and they seem moving in flocks. From here short drive and reach on National Highway route (Leh – Manali). Continue drive towards to Leh via Tanglangla pass (5350 Mtrs.) which is the second highest motorable pass in the world. Arrive Leh in the evening. Overnight at Hotel.
  • DAY 06: Leh
    Day for Rafting in Indus River which starts from Phe to Nimu. Hot Lnch at back of Indus. In the later afternoon return back to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
  • DAY 07: Leh–Khardongla pass–Leh 85Kms
    Day excursion to Khardongla pass which is the highest motor able pass in the world 5600 Mtrs and has been recorded in the Gunnies Book of World Records. At the top enjoy the nature beauty of snow capped mountains. In the late afternoon return back to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

    Transfer in time to the airport to connect onwards destination flight.

  • DAY 01: Arrive at Delhi
    Reach Delhi in the evening and relax at hotel. Overnight will be at Delhi.
  • DAY 02: Delhi - Leh
    Early morning transfer to domestic airport to connect flight to Leh. On arrival in Leh, airport transfer by jeeps to hotel. In the evening you can take a small walk in the market. Overnight will be at hotel.
  • DAY 03: Leh
    After breakfast half day excursion to visit Phyang & Spituk Gompa. Spituk Gompa - On a hilltop above the Indus River and only 8kms from Leh, the spituk gompa was built in the 15th century under the Gelukpa order. Phyang - Not far past Spituk, a long roughish track off the main road leads to the pretty village of Phyang. Mani walls lead to the little - visited gompa, which was built around the 16th century by king Tashi Namgyal and is today home to about 45 monks of the Kagyupa order. Afternoon visit of Stok Gompa - Stok Gompa is where the last king of Ladakh died in 1974. Built in 1814 it is popular because it is so easy to get to. There are more than 80 rooms. The museum has a unique display of rare ornaments from the royal family, traditional clothing and jewellery. After the visit you will drive back to Leh. Also visit the Tibetan Refugee Camp & school. Dinner & overnight will be at hotel.
  • DAY 04: Leh - Kargil
    Kargil TravelBreakfast will be at hotel. Early morning drive to Kargil over two big passes on the way. Enroute stop to visit the Lamayuru Monastery & Mulbekh. Arrive in Kargil by evening. On arrival, check into hotel for dinner. Overnight will be at hotel in Kargil.
  • DAY 05: Kargil - Rangdum - Padum (By Road 11 hrs drive)
    After an early breakfast commence drive 10 - 11 hrs through the Suru valley passing through numerous villages, The days drive gives excellent view of the Twin peak s of Nun & Kun. Arrive at Rangdum in the afternoon to visit Monastery. After visit continue over the mighty Pensilass pass into Zanskar. The top of Pesi la pass offers excellent views of the snow covered peaks. Late evening arrival near Padum a place called Ating where we will set up our camp for the next three days & make excursions from here. Dinner & Overnight will be in camp.
  • DAY 06: Padum
    Breakfast will be at the camp. Padum is the administration headquarters of the Zanskar region this has resulted in the town faining a character similar to road-head everywhere. This day visit the karcha Monastery in the morning, return to camp for a hotel lunch. In the afternoon visit Sani Gompa & rest time around Padum Market. Return to camp in the evening. Overnight will be at camp.
  • DAY 07: Padum - Kargil (By Road 10 hrs drive)
    Early morning drive to Kargil 10 hrs over the PENSILA PASS. En route visit the image of Maitriya Buddha near the Sanku village. Arrive late in the evening to the comforts of a hot shower & a hotel bed. Overnight will be at hotel.
  • DAY 08: Kargil - Alchi - Leh
    Alchi Travel VacationEarly morning drive to Leh en route visit the famous monastery of Alchi this is the unique monastery in Ladakh this very well known for its ancient paintings, it is also termed as the Ajanta of the Himalayas. Arrive late in the evening at Leh. On arrival, check into hotel for dinner & overnight.
  • DAY 09: Leh - Likir Gompa - Dha Hanu
    After breakfast drive to Dha hanu enroute visit at Likir Gompa, The magnificent gompa at Likir, known as the Klu-kkhyol Gompa, was founded in the 14th century, and was the first in Ladakh known to have been built under the direction of Tibetan monks. After visit continue to Dha hanu. Overnight will be at the Camp.
  • DAY 10: Dha Hanu
    Dha Hanu consists of a handful of villages along the road leading north-west from Khalsi. The steep bare walls of the Indus give the terraced fields more light and heat than other pats of Ladakh. The area is probably most famous for its inhabitants, known as dards or Brokpas, "people of the land ", an ancient Indo- Iranian people but retain their own Buddhist and beliefs. Overnight will be at camp.
  • DAY 11: Dha Hanu - Basg - Leh
    After breakfast return back to Leh enroute visit at Basgo, Basgo was the capital of lower Ladakh kingdom was united at Leh. Listed as one of the top 100 endangered world heritage sites in 2000, the 400 - year old mud- brick gompa is up winding, steep tracks. The prayer room in the Set zung Temple has great frescoes; another temple has an enoromus gold & copper statue of the Maitreya Buddha ( Future Buddha ). After visit continue to Leh. Overnight will be at the hotel.
  • DAY 12: Leh - Hemis - Chumtahng - Karzok - Tsomoriri
    Hemis Tour & TravelDrive to Hemis Gompa after breakfast, around 35 km from Leh for a short visit. Hemis Gompa is also known as Chang-Chub-Sam-Ling (or the Lone Place of the Compassionate Person), Hemis Gompa, 45 km south of Leh belongs to the Brokpa order and was founded in the early 17th century. Now it is one of the most accessible, famous and therefore most visited gompas. Continue drive to Chumthang and then continue to Karzok village. The Karzok village has single gompa here is quite unusual because it is inhabited predominantly by women, who often spend their day making beautiful garments for themselves. The gompa was built in about 1850 replacing one replacing one destroyed during Dogra invasion. Tso Moriri is situated at an altitude of 4573m form south east from Leh. It is like a pearl shape and contains large mineral deposits. The circumference of the lake is around 36 km. Here you must register and show your permit. Late evening return the camp for overnight.
  • DAY 13: Karzok
    Breakfast will be at the camp. Enjoy the KARZOK GUSTOR FESTIVAL during the day. This is a very colourful and famous festival of Ladakh. Overnight will be at camp.
  • DAY 14: Mune / Padam (3560 m) 6 hrs. (End the Trek)
    The trek runs along the river until reaching the Bardan Gompas, which is one of the oldest Gompas of the region. The friendly monks will show you around the Gompas, which also houses a gigantic prayer wheel, which stands over three meters high. After visiting the monastery, trek down till Padum, which is only a little away. Camp overnight.
  • DAY 15: Karzok
    Ladakh TourBreakfast will be at the camp. Enjoy the FESTIVAL in the morning. In the afternoon visit Thukse which is about 7km from Tsomoriri. There is a small gompa at the village of Thukse. A collection of solid brick huts set up for the dramatic winters. Overnight will be at camp.
  • DAY 16: Karzok - Tsokar (By Road 85 km in 5 hrs drive)
    After a leisurely breakfast drive to Tsokar. This is a beautiful valley with yaks and nomads. The journey to this place is through rugged roads but the destination is really beautiful. Enjoy the lakes and scenes and relax in the camp while our people take care of you. Overnight will be at the TSOKAR CAMP.
  • DAY 17: Tsokar - Sarchu (By Road 118 km in 5 hrs drive)
    After breakfast drive to Pang. This will be 60 km down hill drive first and then you will need to cross PANG. Pang is the tiny migrated markets in Leh-Manali road. The person who run the shops these are Ladakhi. They are shifted there for few months as mid June till Sep. Just cross Pang and drive to Sarchu. En route we cross the wild animals. Sarchu is the very open place on the bank of the Bhaga River. The evening will be windy. Overnight will be at the tent.
  • DAY 18: Sarchu - Jispa (By Road 142 km in 5 hrs drive)
    Sarchu Tour PackageEnjoy your breakfast at the camp and drive to Jispa. The drive is very beautiful as the vegetation and the mountains slowly change colours. Pass through the Darcha village. This place is the gateway for the trekker's to Lamayuru via Zanskar valley. We stop there for checking, because this is the last check post in the Himachal. After verifying the passports and another documents, cross the Barlacha Pass (4650m). Reach Jispa in the afternoon. Enjoy the village walk in the evening and relax. Overnight will be at Jispa.
  • DAY 19: Jispa - Manali (By Road 117 km in 5 hrs drive)
    Drive to Keylong after breakfast and visit the KHARDUNG MONASTERY - the most celebrated monastery of Lahaul. Keylong at an elevation of 3350 m. is situated on the Manali-Leh road is the headquarters of Lahaul and Spiti. It is the only place in Lahaul, which has a regular bazaar. It is ideally situated in the heart of the Himalayas in the lonely corner with high cliffs in the front covered with snow. This place is lush green. The climate of this place is dry and bracing but winters are very severe. Keylong located above Bhaga River the district headquarters of Lahaul Spiti has been described as oasis of green field. Three well known monasteries Tayul, Khardong, Gemur and Sha-Shur are within a few kilometers. The people of this valley are mainly Buddhists & the local society still follows the ancient culture of polygamy . Continue drive to Manali through the Rohatang Pass 13,060 ft. around 51 km climb up to the Rohatang along a rough bridle path and once on top, enjoy the stunning panoramas of the array of snow peaks and glaciers. En route stop off at snow point a static point as it shifts with the snow. Reach Manali in the late afternoon. Spend time at the local markets. Overnight will be at Manali.
  • DAY 13: Manali
    Manali TourProceed for a Full Day excursion of the hill queen. The white peaks send a cheerful welcome to the Land of Snowballs and Skiing as a matter of fact Manali is the first choice of many people who want to see and touch snow for the first time. First times trippers to Manali will invariably want to sues out old favorites such as the 16th century Hadimba Temple, the Hot spring at Vashisht and even speculate anout the life and times Old Manali - the hippy enclave. But the lure of the playing fields of the Solang Valley. Naggar 28 km from the Manali, a picturesque tiny village set on a hill, Naggar is the starting points for the treks over the Chandrakhani pass. The town is host to the Roerich Art Gallery that used to be the home of artist Nicholas Roerich and his wife Devika Rani. Amongst the ancient temples in the area are the 12th century Gauri Shankar temple and the Chatar Bhuj Temple. Return to the hotel or explore the local markets.
  • DAY 20: Manali - Amritsar (By Road 250 km in 5 hrs drive )
    Breakfast will be at the hotel. Drive to Amritsar. Reach and during the day visit the GOLDEN TEMPLE. This is one of the best maintained shrines in India and would take a bit of time visiting the place and taking a round of the pious lake. In the evening enjoy the Punjabi Cuisine and roam in the old market of the city. Overnight will be in Amritsar.
  • DAY 21: Amritsar - Delhi (By Train 6 hr)
    Breakfast will be at the hotel. Visit the INDIA PAKISTAN BORDER for a dress parade. (GATE OPENING CEREMONY) In the late afternoon take SHATABDI deluxe train to Delhi. Reach and stay overnight at Delhi.
  • DAY 22: Delhi - Home
    Breakfast will be at hotel. Relax in the morning. In the afternoon proceed for a sightseeing tour of DELHI visiting HANUMAN MANDIR, JANTAR MANTAR, BANGLA SAHIB GURDWARA, LODHI GARDENS AND CRAFTS MUSEUM. Walk around Connaught Place in the free time. In the evening return to the hotel and proceed for FAREWELL DINNER. Proceed to the airport in time for flight home.

We booked this hotel during our 8 day trip to Leh. What makes the stay worthwhile is that the rooms are clean, have spacious bathrooms with hot water facility in the morning and evening, the hotel stuff are very friendly and helpful. The manager arranged car and a friendly driver for our site seeing and provided us decent discounts on these tours as well. The hotel has a small but beautiful rose garden. The in-house restaurant has decent food options. Try their crispy pakodas with afternoon tea, and you know what I mean.
